2.5 hours and Lady Sarah and I will be settling into our seats with a huge ol’ bucket of buttered popcorn…..and equally large Diet Coke (gotta stay awake you know!!) and watching Twilight. Yes, I’m still skeered it’s gonna be ‘cheeseball’…but I’m willing suck it up!! I guess it isn’t so bad living in the Central Time Zone, as we hit Friday before my beloved Utah folk!! Hey…I’ll text you while I’m watchin’ and you’re waitin’!! hee, just kidding!

The trailer was just on TV…and I got to run around screaming 2 hours….2 hours… to my kids! They weren’t happy with me, but hey, we’ve waited a long time for this moment!! I’m gonna wear my new BLING and listen to the soundtrack all the way to Barrington! THANKS SO MUCH K.A.—-the bracelet is AWESOME!!

Wow, two posts today with Amazon links in them! DO NOT feel pressured to purchase any of these items, I’m just having fun finding them. However, if you are shopping through Amazon…I am expecting it to be done through me…mkay!!

Anyway, here is my question…..Which of the following would you choose?

I already have the Kitchenaid mixer, so I would just need the attachment…but is the second brand better? Price wise the Kitchenaid is cheaper, but again, I have over 200 pounds of wheat coming…so I want something strong and fabulous! But then there’s the cute little cheapy one…and if there is ever a problem with power, there’s the hand crank (I’d rather do it the “Native American” way instead of that thing)…but probably good to have on hand.

What are your thoughts? If this was what you were asking for for Christmas…which would you choose?

Should I feel bad that most of the kids gifts this year are books? I don’t, and it’s every book they’ve asked for…but it just seems to be missing something!

For holidays my kids get tickets for a date with their dad. Bulls / Blackhawk / Globetrotter / Monster Trucks…they are the “big” items that they get. This year, because there isn’t a Monster Truck show in the Chicago area around Grayson’s birthday, we will be traveling north to Milwaukee to see them. So even though the tickets for the kids are only $5.00 each, there will be pit party passes and a hotel room that need to be factored in.

Most everything else they are getting is coming from Ebay…again! They end up getting a huge Christmas, for half the price…so I’m happy there!

This year my big expense is my hubby! Since he sometimes stumbles upon a post or two…I’m not going to say what it is…other than, NOPE!!! I’m not even saying that! But it’s AWESOME!!

An airbrush system…I RAWK! Don’t mock it’s size…it’s not like I’m Madame Airbrusher or anything…but for my cakes…it will be so fun! And for $13 bucks…how could I not!! I have to have it for Jake’s ‘Electric Guitar’ cake, or I’ll be improvising on the flames, again! I’ve never used an airbrush, so it may take a bit. But I think it’s one of those things you can’t really mess up…just leave it to me!

All of Jake’s cake’s have been baked and frozen. I will get them out Saturday to begin the process! I may be cutting it close because I’m making the marshmallow fondant the same day I need it. It was way too much wrist work after being in the fridge. So I will stack it, carve it and frost it either tomorrow or Saturday. Cover with fondant, paint and decorate the same day. I wanted a green guitar with flames…Jake wants a black one with flames. His way, at least all party goers will have green poop!! Oh, the fun!
