20 Aug 2008 Where Has The Time Gone!!
 |  Category: Uncategorized

I know I’m not the only person with multiple “balls” in the air, so how do all of you handle it? Each different ball seems to take weeks to complete and I can spend entire days on one particular task…and everything else gets ignored. For example…take a gander at THIS. This has been my biggest project, it’s taken hours. But it’s no where near finished, and I have four other ones that need finishing!

Then there is the blog for my husband’s company. It’s been pretty neglected for a few reasons, the biggest being the fact that it won’t let me do anything other than post. That probably doesn’t sound too bad, except that if you know me I am a “tweaking” freak. I love to manipulate the coding to get exactly what I want. As I’m trying to make it super cool-it keeps telling me no, and it’s kinda boring without anything added. SO…I spent all day yesterday working on it, and have finally decided to redirect it HERE and now I can completely transform it how I want it. But again, the entire day is gone!

School starts one week from today…and I will have one child left at home. You’d think this would help on the time, but it never does. The school year speeds by and it will be Halloween before you know it. Once Halloween hits, suddenly we are at Christmas vacation! The longest part of the year is the month of January (Why does that month take so long?) and then you hit Valentines, which immediately turns to Easter, and like my Grandma always said, “Once you get to Easter, the school year is over!” So…I have until Halloween, the entire month of January and then suddenly I’ll have all four kids home again. It makes me tired just thinking of it!

So I have two “balls” for today. Getting my photos and videos up on this blog from our summer of fun, and finishing up what I need to do for the company blog. We’ll see how we do with those two projects!
