29 Feb 2008 Casimir Pulaski Day!
 |  Category: Uncategorized

Monday is Casimir Pulaski Day here in the Chicagoland area, and I’m thinking it must be more of a Cook County thing, because now that we no longer live in Cook—my kids go to school. HAPPY DANCIN’!! They have no school today—which is fine, but the sanity would not be able to handle a four day weekend!

The kids got to have a sleep over last night with their best friends from the old neighborhood. We picked them up after school, headed to Willow Brook for a Bulls players autograph and then home. The kids played Wii and PS2 most of the evening–and then I had to go to bed. I’m not sure why I was so tired, maybe 6 kids had something to do with it. Hard to remember the times I wanted 8!!

I need to be working on Grayson’s baptism invitations, but I’ve just not found the motivation to get them done. Not even the fact that it is a month from today!! I need to at least get the pictures ordered so I can pick them up at Costco tomorrow–I’ll let you know if I get it done!

  1. We always got the day off from school in Will county too. Now that we’re in Texas my daughter is ticked that she has to go to school!

You actually wanted eight kids! I remember when Joey used to say that too. Now look, you both have four! I’m thinken two might be my magic number.

  3. What’s funny is that we both have four in the exact same order. Boy, Boy, Girl, Boy! That’s odd!

  4. oh! i saw this blog too when i was dropping cards and i love it! is that actually a CAKE? Or am I hallucinating?
