I just took Wasatch in to Petsmart for his "snip"! Poor little guy! Not really, I think he will be much happier–and far more tolerable. He’s a puppy, so we have to give him some leeway–but still, with a puppy and a 3 year old "Demon child" it really can tend to wear a bit on my sanity–which is already a little unstable due to the depression! We had to get up really early to get him there on time. He had to check in between 7 and 7:30 this morning. Not so bad, except that it’s several cities away–not as bad as it would have been had we still lived in Elmwood Park–that would have been a haul! I dropped him off–as "Frankie" the name that the previous owners had given him. He will be microchipped as Frankie and given the previous address, but I can call and have the address changed. I don’t mind so much on the name.
It was snowing as I was driving home. It’s a beautiful snow. The big puffy snowflakes–I love those! It’s supposed to hit us with between 5 and 7 inches. I’m excited because it will be the first time I get to use the snow blower–but not happy about the commute in to pick Wasatch up this afternoon–that shouldn’t be a fun drive at all!
Not much on tap for the day. It’s bill paying day–bleh! And with two houses to pay for, it’s never very fun! I do need to purchase our tickets for the Nutcracker on Saturday night, and I need to plan the necessities for our New Years Eve party. The neighbors from the old house are coming and will be spending the night. So it’s party food as well as a breakfast menu–but that shouldn’t be too bad–I just have to get off of this chair and do it!
