31 Oct 2007 Trunk R Treat!!
 |  Category: Uncategorized

Have you ever heard of Trunk R Treat? It’s what LDS Wards (and MANY OTHER people)across the country do for Halloween. We go to the church and the kids get to run and play a number of games, make crafts have cookies and milk–and then at the end of the evening, the adults go out to their cars with fully decorated trunks, and pass out candy while the kids trick r treat from trunk to trunk.

Last night was trunk r treat in our new area. It was so fun…other than the fact that I don’t know many people–the kids had a good time! What was really fun–the trunks. One family did the back of their mini van completely in an “Under the Sea” motif–including the cutest newborn baby girl mermaid. It was the cutest trunk of the evening…of course! I tried to take a photo, and it’s kind of hard to see–but that little pink hooded creature is the baby mermaid. How cute is that?

Oh! This is a great idea! And even though the baby mermaid can’t be viewed clearly, I’m sure she looked adorable.

  2. Thanks for explaining this! I’ve been wondering what Trunk R Treat was and now I know. I saw several churches in our area doing it but wasn’t sure what it was.

They stopped truck-er-treats in Utah. Came from the top.
