It’s BBQ season–finally. That means that my poor husband has been swamped at work! They are just crawling out of the woodwork. Normal days are endless–waiting lists throughout dinner. Most waiting to sit on the patio, which is fine. But yesterday being a “traveling” holiday the front of the house wasn’t expecting a lot of business so only 4 servers were on. The night brought as many customers as a Saturday night, and there are usually 12 servers working on a Saturday night. The other part that makes life hard–they will tell people the wait time is 1 hour, and they will walk around the corner and place there order with the “To Go” side. So now their orders come in sooner than the one hour-but everyone else before them is set to wait while they sneak a to go order in! It’s just craziness! I hope they start hiring people soon, because in the next couple of months my husband will be pulled out-to open restaurant number 3!
